PNotes itself is always portable

In the meantime I noticed that PNotes is always portable (ie without surrounding Portableapps application).

The settings are always stored in a file called "notes.ini" and the notes themselves are stored in a folder called "data".

PNotes itself do not store anything in the registry or special windows folders.

There is no special surrounding Portableapps application "PNotesPortable" nessessary to have PNotes portable.

A description you can find here: www.portablefreeware.com/index.php?q=pnotes .

So, if you want to transfer your PNotesPortable settings and notes to the normal (always portable) PNotes, do the following:
- Unzip PNotes_6_5_110.zip,
- Create a new folder "data" in the folder PNotes\,
- Copy all files (except notes.ini) from PNotesPortable\Data\settings\ to PNotes\data\,
- Copy file PNotesPortable\Data\settings\notes.ini to PNotes\notes.ini,
- Copy all files from PNotesPortable\App\PNotes\backup\ to PNotes\backup\
- Do the same with additional files in "skins", "fonts", "sound"
- That's all, folks: Now you can start PNotes\pnotes.exe with all you settings and all your notes.

But if you want to keep your PNotesPortable and want to update it to 6.5, do the following:
- Just overwrite the files in PNotesPortable\App\PNotes\ with those from PNotes_6_5_110.zip (incl subfolders)
- Copy a new language file (YourLanguage.lng) from PNotes6.5 to PNotesPortable\App\PNotes\lang\
- That's all folks [1] ...

[1] To disable the Portableapps splashscreen create the file PNotesPortable\PNotesPortable.ini with two lines:
[PNotesPortable]
DisableSplashScreen=true
