Problem #1:
I downloaded Nvu Portable 1.0 rev 3 and tried install it on my 2GB flash stick into the folder G:\Program Files\Nvu . It didn't work. I even tried it on multiple pc's. I get a error:
http://www.sdx.xperthost.com/uploader/files/1/Images/nvuerror.GIF

Problem #2 | I cant delete
Since it didn't install properly on multiple pc's, I went to go delete it. I get prompted with this:
http://www.sdx.xperthost.com/uploader/files/1/Images/deleteerror.GIF
Thats odd. Why are there boxes in the filename....
Then I get this....
http://www.sdx.xperthost.com/uploader/files/1/Images/error3.GIF
So i try to delete the files manually. In the G:\Program Files\Nvu\NVUPortable\App\nvu folder is the location of the odd files names. Not only that, it says the total size of the folder is 10.5GB. When I try to delete those files I get...
http://www.sdx.xperthost.com/uploader/files/1/deleterror2.GIF
Note that awfully large files on my 2GB stick...
I need help of getting rid of those files and or fixing the bad install.
Your drive is partially corrupt. I suggest pulling off any files you need and reformating, which may help.

Are you sure? I can delete /rename/ copy/cut / run ALL other files on the stick. Its only that folder that brings up those errors.
If after a reboot you can't do anything with that folder... it's corrupted. And the NVU installer isn't an installer per-say. It's just a self-extractor... equivalent to me distributing a zip and you using 7-zip to unzip it to your drive. My guess is that you just happened to get unlucky and it hit that corrupted part of the drive when you were putting Nvu on the drive.
