My AppCompactor installation is fully updated - it's at version 2.0.1 - but the PortableApps Updater keeps saying it needs another update. I even tried letting the Updater "update" it, then I re-ran the Updater 5 minutes later and it said AppCompactor needed another update.
I'm guessing something isn't quite right either in the updates database or in the way AppCompactor is reporting its version.

Old directory was AppCompactor. New directory is PortableApps.comAppCompactor. When you install new fresh, the old directory is removed. If you beta tested the new one, it is not. Remove the old directory manually.

I did search, and only found topics where the old AppCompactor was installed. I've got the new one.
EDIT: It looks like I had both the old and new versions installed for some reason? I've got no idea how that happened.
I've deleted the old one and the updater isn't showing that update anymore. Sorry for the confusion!

I have AppCompactor 2.0.1 on my USB Flash Drive and the updater does NOT list it as an available update.John's answer is the definitive one.
