Is there any way to migrate Chrome extensions for the portable?

I'm having massive stability issues with the 5x version of Chrome, and I'm hoping that an update will help, but I haven't been able to google up any kind of tool/solution that lets me take my extensions with me.

There are a couple that seem to work with installed Chrome, but I don't see any option for us Portable users. I really wish someone would just make a FEBE/CLEO type extension for Chrome, but in the meanwhile, does anyone know of anything?

5.x Unsupported

5.x is no longer supported and has security issues. Please upgrade to 6.x as soon as possible.

Yeah, that is what I'm trying

Yeah, that is what I'm trying to do, but I don't want to have to manually re-download all my extensions, so I still need a solution.

Install Over

As with the local version, you install 6.x right over 5.x. Your data is maintained independently. Some extensions may only be compatible with 5.x and not 6.x and you'll have to upgrade them but I believe Chrome handles that as Firefox does. At least in theory. I don't use Chrome myself. Its extension setup isn't as mature as Firefox's, so it doesn't have the same backup utilities like FEBE.

If you're that concerned, you can always backup first of the whole app.
