I've bee using opera for years and i'm happy to see this awesome browser in your collection. I tested it and as far as i can tell it runs just fine. I'm not a programmer or anything but i am writing this post on the opera pretest you guys released. I thought i'd give you a little feed back. Thanks for all the hard work you guys do. 
I just wanted to test this out, so I installed it to my desktop yesterday. I checked the registry today because the power went out and I had to clean things up, but I found an Opera key
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Opera Software] "Last CommandLine v2"="C:\\Users\\[Username]\\Desktop\\OperaPortable\\App\\Opera\\opera.exe "
Using Windows7 32-bit
Confirmed on Windows XP SP2 and Windows 7 64-bit.
This is fixed in the official 10.62 release which has just been posted.
Where can I download the source for the launcher?
It uses the PortableApps.com Launcher, so the source code is available in that package.
