I assume the user wants full audio/video support, otherwise aside from the messenger built into Yahoo mail or whatever it is, Pidgin/Miranda would also suffice.
It was a little tricky, I had to not use the "@Yahoo" and make sure my password was exact. MSN worked almost instantly, but Yahoo took a little bit with either Pidgin or Miranda

I was really tired when I typed that... I think I meant that capitalization counts, as on some sites it doesn't... Probably what I meant. But still, thinking about it, if you made a Yahoo account and used it on anything, you'd know.
Not going to happen; it's highly doubtful Yahoo's license would allow it. Sorry.

I think i've seen that u can add an yahoo messenger account in Pidgin? have u tried that?
for Yahoo. actualy nearly every non yahoo client failed me for yahoo. MSN has no issue.
When did you try it last? I use Yahoo daily in Pidgin, without issue.

Are you using a proxy? I have heard issues with Yahoo for people using proxies but for us "normal" people it works just fine.
why should i use a proxy when my ISP supports yahoo as my ISP email is a yahoo email.
