Pidgin Portable 2.7.3 is clean (so is the original Pidgin 2.7.4).
I've had bad experiences with it. It's detected WINWORD.exe (microsoft office word 2007) and Windows media player as viruses.
And... do you really think PortableApps.com distributes apps with viruses?
I'm not expressing a personal opinion. Just reporting what Kaspesrsky found. Thought it should be of interest to others (regardless whether it’s a true or a false positive).
