not yet

This is planned for the next version of the platform.
Please make sure you search before asking a question as many of them have already been asked and answered.

Look …

If you don't mind using an old steam-driven fork presumed to be infested with some kind of insects you can group your programs in geek.menu.

What you can do with the

What you can do with the current version is use multiple instances of portable apps.
for example.

create a folder called "OfficeApps" -> install portable apps installer inside here and install the open office application and other relevent office apps.

create a folder called "WebApps" -> install portable apps installer inside here and install the Firefox, Thunderbird, Filezilla, and other relevent web apps.

Not an elegant solution, but it will all work OK.

I use 2 instances of PA on my portable HD.
First instance is freely available for everyone in the world to use.
Second instance is contained within a TrueCrypt volume on the same HD and is available only by me, It contains the private info like browser history, passwords etc - safely protected should the drive ever be mislaid (or worse - stolen).

Both instances can be run independently or both at the same time. You can run different applications from each instance.

Sometimes you can even run the same App from each instance at the same time (Openoffice) but Firefox complains if you try to run it from both instances at the same time(Not allowed) - so probably best to avoid this by keeping different apps on each instance.
