jauntpe question

Hi,
I'm newbie here. Could anybody please point out the error in my testing move:

I use JauntePE030AlphaNB19 trying to portalize a software. Everything works but in the end: (this software tranforms a document into .doc file and automatically calls Winword to open that .doc file.), when it comes to this "automatically calls Winword", error occurs and some msoffice install procesure occurs...

I find out that .doc is saved to folder like ".\jpe\user\apps...", not where I wanted it to be.

Is there anything I can do?

Unsupported

We don't currently support or recommend JauntePE for portablization. The current semi-stable release is closed source (inappropriate for the majority of our work). The unstable open source release that you mention hasn't been tested by us and is in too early a state to be considered for PA.c releases (it hasn't even been confirmed to work on all current versions of Windows yet).

I'd highly recommend using the stable PA.c Launcher for portablizing your apps. It works on Windows 2000 through Windows 7, in all standard user modes (admin, limited and guest) and on both 32-bit and 64-bit Windows. It also does not trigger anti-malware false-positives around DLL injection.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Thanks for fast response. I

Thanks for fast response.
I think I've tested pa.c launcher, which doesn't work on software with multiple exe files in folder.

Just now I tried VMware ThinApp, and it turned out to be perfect.

And as for ThinApp...

Unless you've paid several thousand dollars for a license, you're working with it illegally.
