Console Portable 2.00 b147 has been released. Console is a Windows console window enhancement, adding numerous organizational and UI enhancement to a standards Windows command prompt. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Suite. And it's open source and completely free.
Revision 2: A fix to drive letter portablization in Console's settings files.
PortableApps.com Platform 2.0 Beta 5 users who already have this app installed, simply click 'Check for Updates' in your PA.c Menu to update to the new version.
Features
Console features include: multiple tabs, text editor-like text selection, different background types, alpha and color-key transparency, configurable font, different window styles and more.
Helpful Tip: You can include your own custom scripts in the directory ConsolePortable\Data\scripts (created after you have run it once) so you can use your own command line tools from every location.
PortableApps.com Installer / PortableApps.com Format
Console Portable is packaged in a PortableApps.com Installer so it will automatically detect an existing PortableApps.com installation when your drive is plugged in. It supports upgrades by installing right over an existing copy, preserving all settings. And it's in PortableApps.com Format, so it automatically works with the PortableApps.com Suite including the Menu and Backup Utility.

Thanks Chad
Thanks for your work on this, Chad. And welcome to the list of official devs
I revved it to the latest version for the official release and added in the splash. I also removed the scripts from this version due to the inclusion of freeware (even if permitted, we usually don't add freeware to open source apps.. and we can't host it on SourceForge). I'm sure we can find some open source alternatives for the next release.
Thanks John
I'm honored that my contribution was selected among the dozens available for inclusion. Thanks...
Welcome to the family Chad
Welcome to the family Chad and keep up the excellent work.
Marko Bozikovic
Why is Marko Bozikovic not also listed under publishers, since he's the project admin on SF for console?
Fixed
I'd copy and pasted the Command Prompt Portable page to create this one. As it lacks an original author, I neglected to edit it in. It's been fixed as has the missing link back to Console itself.
Missing link
There is no link to the original console page (a la "Learn more about Console") on the page .
Revision 2
A quick revision has been posted to fix a portablization issue of drive letters in Console's settings. Sorry for any inconvenience.
