A question for the portal admin.
Not sure if it's my firefox settings (master password set but not logged all the time to the credentials) or drupal / forums on portableapps.com but for every page / link I open it seems it asks for login and this is annoying when I do not actually to post something on the forum but only to download an app or read posts.
Isn't there a cookie setting so the portal does not ask to login every time which of course brings my firefox's "login with master password" to popup?

We just use the standard Drupal setup. Which means every page checks to see if you're logged in and has a login form on it so you can login. You're never forced to login. Once you log in, the login form disappears and is replaced by your account block. If Firefox is prompting you every single time for your master password just because there's a form on the page you might possibly want to do something with, that's not something we can control (and sounds like a major annoyance). I'd suggest you just login so it stops asking until they implement some way to not constantly bug you.

That box can be annoying, but it prompts for all login entries you have stored, so there's nothing that can be done by a site. Just enter your password and it will leave you alone (you don't necessarily have to login to any sites).

Heh, my memory seems to fail.
I do not remember having such trouble at least with old version (2.x) but indeed its firefox.
I just tested on a joomla website which has the login form on all pages and on mozillazine forums which is phpBB and if there is a login form on a page for the website with saved account data, ffx will jump into asking for the password. Well, I must get a new habit by putting in the master pass first when asked.
I might check if there is a wishlist for ffx with requests regarding annoyances.
