after using firefox often doesnt it keep temporary files so you can load the page faster next time or something?
in regular firefox one can delete temp settings and folder to increase space
can i do something similar with firefox portable to reduce the space on my flash drive?
do the same , but in fact if you did not change anything the the portable firefox, it is done in a way that it will not write any cache to the usb drive. So there is not much you can delete, except few cookies etc.

To clear up what ottosykora is saying, Firefox Portable by default, doesn't save cache (Temporary Files) for speed.
