JKDefrag portable v. 3.36 was made obsolete long before the release of JKDefrag, or should I say, MyDefrag, v. 4.3.1, on May 21 of this year. As a concerned user of this program, I believe the time has come (and gone, long ago) to update it, especially now that it has been optimized for use on a flash drive.

MyDefrag isnt open source any more, its "only" freeware. Thats the main reason why no one made an update yet. It is also unclear if there will ever be one.

It's coming. And I'm already in touch with the publisher.
Realistically, it's a different app with a different name under a different license. JkDefrag is open source, so we packaged it without issue and we host it for free on SourceForge. MyDefrag doesn't work with our old GUI, so we're portablizing it directly and submitting it to the publisher for approval. Then we'll need to pay to host it ourselves since it is closed source.
We will continue to make JkDefrag available, though, for those that prefer Free software.
