Thunderbird 1.5.0.8

Portable Thunderbird 1.5.0.7 hasn't even officially been released and mozilla has already released Thunderbird 1.5.0.8. Maybe John T. Haller needs to look at recruiting some help to get things moving faster.

Sigh

As mentioned many times already... it's licensing that's currently being worked on. It's *NOTHING* technical or time-related. I'm getting tired of repeating this.

...

I'm getting tired of reading this ...

Why can't people read a little bit in the forum? This is a small forum, it should be possible to go to the different threads and think for themselves.

John I think the best would be to completely ignore this people. They will stopp sometime. Let's focus on the real important things ...

The beta 3 is still running like a charm ...

Just remeber....

you were a noob once too, try to be a little more understanding and just point them in the right direction, don't just bash them for being noobs.

You have been here for only a few months, while others, including myself, have been here for almost a year or more, some even before this site existed. I have tracked this since the mozilla forums. So to some, you just might be a noob.

Me, I see everyone as noobs, we are here to learn from one another, things you do not know, so you would be a noob in one topic or another, even if you had been here for ten years.

I agree with John, just not the noob comment. My observation

Quite right

I have tracked this since the mozilla forums.
As have I. Mind you, I didn't have much interest back then, but I thought it might help me compile it. Pardon

well there are 2 sorts of

well there are 2 sorts of noobs:

the "good" noobs who are still using their brain and are for example able to use the search function in a board. You dont have to necessarily call them noobs.

on the other hand there are the real noobs, who not just have no idea about a certain topic but are also dont use their brain very much, keep asking stupid questions over and over again etc.

so when i said noobs i didnt write about beginners but on those poeple who are also not able to learn...

hope i made my point somewhat clear as my english definately sucks Smile

Misleading! :-)

I thought this was going to be a topic about whether or not the 1.5.0.8 update worked OK for people who upgraded.

Mine just updated and it worked OK! Smile

Still loving Thunderbird Portable. Keep up the great work!

1.5

TB 2.0 isn't out yet... it's just an alpha. FF 1.5 is being maintained through the end of April with security patches.
