Winboard Portable (Chess) will not work.

I just downloaded this app and as soon as I go into the play the computer mode, this appears:

What do I have to do to make it play chess?

re-install

try a re-install, just downloaded it installed and ran fine for me here on Win7 64 bit full admin....oh and lost first game forgot about timer:(

I tried that

but the program still does not want to load the VS mode. Oddly, the review game mode works.
