Could you provide a link and some information about what the application is for. You should note that if this is commercial software then the answer is most likely a "no".
This is a driver software for HSDPA USB stick. Is it possible to make it portable. I want to use it with my office computer.Since I do not have access I can not use that USB stick. Pls help me
such software will install drivers first for the particular HSDPA stick. Thereafter it will in often run as service on that computer, at least all such apps for mobile broadband I met so far did so. It will then detect the modem upon insertion and try to activate the connection with the provider of the inserted simcard.
So if you have no access to the admin rights to install the software, you can not run it portably either.
There are devices for such purpose which will simply connect via wifi or some even via LAN cable to the host.
In recent times also number of routers has a green usb connector on the back, and there you can insert the mobile modem, the internal firmware of the router will kae care of the rest and you can access the net then by simply connection the router as switch to your computer.
