I am having issues when downloading this thru multiple SourceForge mirrors. The first download looked normal, but on my Windows XP box, it didn't have a PortableApps icon in the download location. So I deleted the file and attempted to download the package again, but each time I downloaded it again, I got a file that was significantly smaller than the package should be (132-632 kb).

Is anyone else having this issue?

here. The biggest file I got was 1.2 mb Smile

it seems that every file for this package is corrupted, or maybe sourceforge is having some issues right now but its almost impossible to get a working installer...

i used portable WinWGet and it worked (though it had to retry sooo many times) but at least i'll be able to update my firefox beta Smile

No sig... yikes!

The reason it started working is because I reuploaded the whole set of files to reset SF and force it to resend the files to all the mirrors. They should all be working now.

John, I've tried several mirrors, including the SF mirror, and I am still not getting a complete download. All have been under 1 mb in size.

Still not getting complete download, through any mirror or Updater.

John,

I used wget on a linux server. Wget was constantly disconnected / had to reconnect to get a little bit more of the file each time before it finally gave up. Prob at sourceforge? Tried this at 3:55 PM EST. I can provide a log file if needed.

It is a SF issue. The FFP 4 beta homepage says this right at the time. Ticket is filed. Nothing else we can do at the moment.

Thanks John!

It seems that most, if not all, of the downloads haven't mirrored, or are corrupted. I've yet to get over 1MB downloaded on either the English or EnglishGB download, and SF only has the "master" mirror listed as available.

I did everything I can think of. Cleared cache uninstalled browser. Even used IE. Not getting the entire download. I'll try using voodoo magic next

Fortunately, if you already have a previous version of Firefox 4 Beta Portable installed, it can update itself (Help > About Firefox) without having to go through Sourceforge.
