Never got around to testing this as stuff came up and it slipped below the radar. Just updated to 2.2 DT1 and got this error message when click Backup Game Saves from the side menu.
I installed the local version and error does not occur with it.

Testers, comments anyone?
No big issues. Works a treat and have been using regularly with each update
My only qualm would be the need to reconfigure settings with each update.
Beyond that only base app issues like multiple entries for games and uninstalled games showing up in list.

2 stupid questions for ya. What do I have to do to to get the download from Majorgeeks to make it a working portable in PAF format. If I install it, can I just copy file from the appropriate Program Files to the old portable files directory, or is it more involved? Also, you mentioned mirrors. Is there a mirror for the PAF version??? Thanks a bunch.

Works on Window 7. Nothing left behind according to RegAlyzer. Good stuff
Noticed with each upgrade it asks to verify settings. Is this specific to the base app or a portable issue?

The version 3.0 of GameSave Manager has been released. The core app is now portable. There are a lot of changes to this program. See the changes and download a copy at Majorgeeks.com.
I have a copy that I made using your last version of 2.3 as a guide. I did have to create a new launcher, and run the installer to get a PAF version, but didn't want to just post it. Besides, my copy seems to have some weirdness to it. I got some kind of error when I first ran it. It still seems to work, but I have a feeling I messed something up.
If you want to look at my copy, let me know, and I'll post a download link to my dropbox, ok? And thanks again kai.inouye, for a great portable app. I really do use it all the time on two different computers.

There is a new version of GameSave Portable posted at https://portableapps.com/node/33524. I used the PAF from this version as a guide, So please let me know if you find anything wrong, as there may be some legacy stuff from the old laucher that I missed. And to kai.inouye, if you wish to continue this, just let me know, ok?
