Evince Portable 2.30.3 has been released. Evince is a document viewer for multiple document formats including pdf, postscript, djvu, tiff and dvi. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Suite. And it's open source and completely free.
PortableApps.com Platform 2.0 Beta 5 users who already have this app installed, simply click 'Check for Updates' in your PA.c Menu to update to the new version.
Features
Evince has integrated search, continuous or side-by-side views, thumbnails, document index support, encrypted document viewing and printing support. Evince has support for pdf, postscript, djvu, tiff and dvi files as well as incomplete experimental support for comic book formats (most files will not yet work, official support is coming).
PortableApps.com Installer / PortableApps.com Format
Evince Portable is packaged in a PortableApps.com Installer so it will automatically detect an existing PortableApps.com installation when your drive is plugged in. It supports upgrades by installing right over an existing copy, preserving all settings. And it's in PortableApps.com Format, so it automatically works with the PortableApps.com Suite including the Menu and Backup Utility.

Shouldn't the version number
Shouldn't the version number be 2.30.3 instead of 3.30.3?
Fix'd
That was fast
Wow, I'm amazed how quickly this was fast-tracked. Thanks Chris or John!
Nice
I know this program from my Ubuntu box...
One suggestion: Could this be packaged as a multilingual package with the ability to skip unneeded lang files?
Evince with all lang files is 72 mb, with only english and german its 47 - almost half the size!
First I thought:"Nice. Now I can ditch Sumatra and Windjview and have both in one program" but Evince is 10 times bigger than the 2 together.
Should be doable
Using the PA installer this shouldn't be hard, however, the way the installer is currently set up, you either install only English, or you install all languages. Methinks a feature request is in order.
Already done
I've already asked that in the forums. John is totally against it saying the extra MBs are irrelevant with the current prices of the relatively large flash drives and with some application not working without all included languages included.
I still don't like it and I do the job of deleting the extra langs manually.
ok
I read the IRC logs that it was a wanted but forgotten feature so Im happy now.
All multi lang installers work that you have 2 options: english only or everything. In my opinion it would be overly complicated to have an entry for every language.
@saleh: I think John is only against it when it saves only a couple mb. But in this case its almost 30mb which imho is different.
