I'm having an issue with latest Chrome ver 9.0.597.98 stable. If I am using this browser to try and download other programs from PApps, in the lower left corner it says "waiting for sourceforge", then changes to "waiting for a.fsdn.com" and then hangs there. The other thing I've noticed is that when I close the program, it still leaves one instance of Chrome.exe running in Task Manager along with the launcher. Soon as I end chrome.exe then the launcher closes. The Portable Dev version 10 of Chrome works perfectly, Portable Iron and Portable Firefox work fine too. I did the upgrade to this version of Chrome and that is when I started noticing these issues. I moved that folder to another location and did a fresh install and still had the same problems.

About your problem with chrome.exe, do you have Google Cloud Print Proxy enabled in
about:flags? If yes, it's probably related to issue 10658.Previously known as kAlug.
I disabled the cloud printing and that solved one of the problems. When I close Chrome it now closes all instances and the launcher too. I still have the problem about not being able to download a program though. I do find it odd that the latest Dev version works fine though...
