I would like to sync - mirror ONLY my .mobi files from
C:\My Documents\Calibre Library\..many different sub-directories..\*.mobi to
F:\e-books\
Can you please help me to do this?

you select Calibre Library as your source directory and e-books as your destination you can do this with a couple of simple rules. Create a new set of rules and add a folder exclude rule with the text Calibre Library, then add another rule, this time a file include, with the text mobi, finally select the rules in the sync tab after you have saved them and you should be good to go. Any other questions please don't hesitate to ask.
Doesn't that only work with 3.1 which isn't released yet? Earlier versions don't have "Files to include".
should still work fine, just use the Locations To Include category. Actually you can make it much simpler in the new pre-release by using the new wildcard support.
