Hello,
I often use the free video converter Super Converter ( http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html ) which, until recently, could be easily downloaded at home and installed at work (Internet very restricted) but since the recent version of Super Converter, you need to have Internet Access to be able to install it... so I can't install it at work cause our Internet security won't allow it.
So, for me it would be great to have a portable version of Super Converter (currently in build 46) in order to continue to be able to use it at work.
Also, we're soon going to deploy SCCM 2007 at work, and it will most likely be used to track down and uninstall the unauthorized software... and I guess a portable application is much more difficult to find cause it let no trace in "add/remove programm".
Thanks
Although in no way trying to force you to any tool, I'd strongly suggest using e.g. XMedia Recode. I used to use Super, too for quite some time, but was already annoyed back then. Having seen other converters, I'd not like to come back to super. (Concerning speed, features,..)
"Der Klügere gibt nach, deshalb regieren Dumme die Welt."
XMedia Recode is listed on the ffmpeg wall of shame for using ffmpeg code/binaries in violation of the GPL/LGPL.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
even though it is in violation? Or is it going to be reworked to download those separately?
Don't be an uberPr∅. They are stinky.
but it was broken unstable and barely worked for me (if it ever loaded).
i now use Handbreak.
