Any portable dvd 2 avi rippers? I know dvd shrink works portable, and I've made Nero portable (although some registry entries).

How did you go about making Nero portable? Doesn't it require a license agreement?

I installed it on my computer registed it, then exported the registry entry. Put the reg file in the folder copied the folder to the nero folder on my drive. Now if I want to use nero, I just input the reg file and run nero. I don't care about registry entries like some people here do.
The registry keeps all the registration codes
Thought not open source, this freeware app converts pretty much everything to pretty much everything else. the interface is a bit clunky, but once you get past that, youll be converting your DVD's to XviDs and back again in no time
