sorry

only free & open source software on this website

if you want portable Photoshop, go to some illegal website with an illegal version of Photoshop

Photoshop ISN'T necessary

Use the GIMP. It is free and Open Source, and available in portable version here.
It should automatically detect your system language.

Seriously, you need to get over Photoshop. I bet you 50 piastres that anything you want to do in Photoshop can be done as easily - or easier - in the GIMP.

Oh, and please don't go to an illegal site to try to get Photoshop - those cracked versions can carry nasty viruses, and besides, we want to discourage people from doing illegal things.

I made this half-pony, half-monkey monster to please you.

Totally agree with the other

Totally agree with the other posters, about ethics and viruses and such. But. I want my piastres so...

You can not easily make rectangles or shapes in gimp, there is no "create polygon" feature, you're stuck with selecting, filling, shrinking/growing selection, and filling again... it's a pain honestly, just saying.

Powerful but not easier...

I'm with Clearheart on this one. No one who has used both PhotoShop and the Gimp could HONESTLY say that the Gimp is just as easy or easier than PS. I'm not saying that you couldn't get the job done in the Gimp. In Fact there are some very talented people that can do amazing things with the Gimp...

It amazes me that on the internet you can be anything you want, and yet so many people still choose to be idiots.

Really?

I find shapes as easy as pie. And as you may or may not know, most of the "features"in PS were developed as plugins, that were later incorporated into the app. Same with the GIMP. While GIMP has incorporated a many of the popular plugins into the app, it's also easy and free to extend the functionality from the GIMP Plugin registry. I recommend the FX-Foundry plugins - a nice collection, and they even include an easy "Create Polygon" for you.

My main point though is that too many people assume that Photoshop is the ONLY graphics program out there, while they don't need it for most tasks. I'm not really interested in restarting the PS vs GIMP argument - it's as pointless as the Mac vs PC vs Linux argument. I'm trying to get the OP to open his eyes and try to see beyond the PS hype to other possibilities.
