This has been mentioned a couple times, but not recently (at least as far as I can tell searching for "graph").
I would like a good program capable of creating algebraic graphs from either equations or tables, or even data collection from hardware or software.
This would be something along the lines of Datagraph or Logger Pro.
Logger Pro: http://www.vernier.com/soft/lp.html
Datagraph: http://www.visualdatatools.com/DataGraph/index.html
Neither of these programs is free, I'm just providing them as an example of what I'm looking for.
If I missed something in either the forums or the apps already available, please feel free to let me know.
I've been thinking I'll do SpeQMathatics as my next project if there's interest. I know it's capable of some pretty complex graphs.

For equations, try gnuplot or winplot (although SpeQ does look like it's really nice).
For data, try LibreOffice Calc (PortableApps version naturally )
YouTube has videos of everything now, so here' some previews of each (including SpeQ Math):

A) I would like something portable
B) I don't want to download an entire office suite
C) I want both capabilities in one app

I'm just going to keep bumping it every now and then until it happens.

others will make it portable.

After hunting around on the intertubes (that's lolspeak for internet) I found an entire page of free/open source graphing programs: http://www.thefreecountry.com/utilities/calculators.shtml
Qmcalc appears to meet my requirements.
license: GNU GPL
url: http://qmcalc.sourceforge.net/
So, can someone please make it portable? Thanks in advance.
