Hello fellow PortableApps. enthusiasts!
I have a simple question:
Is it possible to force OperaPortable to use my Pinned Taskbar Icon?
As it stands right now, when OperaPortable is launched, it creates a new Taskbar Icon next to the Pinned icon.

I have been researching/searching for a resolution to this for many weeks now.
I hope someone can help or atleast give me an answer whether this is possible?

This isn't possible and here is the reason why, OperaPortable.exe is a launcher to opera.exe, which in turns means this, it has 2 processes the OperaPortable.exe is invisible but not to the task manager while opera.exe is visible to the taskbar. So in short it's not possible.

aww man.. i appreciate your help very much though. Atleast now i can put this question that has been bothering me for weeks to rest.

but i see that it's better if u use opera by it's site from opera usb.
it's actually better to use the PortableApps.com package as we try to make sure your data does not get left behind, opera@usb and other sites has issues and often times leaves behind information.
