About half the time, when I log in at portableapps.com/tracker, I get logged in and redirected to the third or fourth page in the tracker. The other half the time, I get properly redirected back to the first page of the tracker. Any idea what's up with this unexpected behavior?
I have no idea what could cause it either, but I've been noticing this for quite some time, and as far as I can tell it's random (though usually it's ?page=4 for me).
I'd say this qualifies as a bug, however since it may get fixed by the Drupal Upgrade I won't recommend changing the title to say [Bug] (thus adding it to the Open Bug Reports page) unless it remains after the upgrade has been completed.

Mostly, I'm just content to get confirmation that I'm not going crazy.
I had mostly forgotten about the upcoming Drupal upgrade; I'll just wait until after that's finished like you're suggesting.
Thanks!

Can we put this up to a vote?

At first I thought it was taking me back to a page where a forum topic had been updated without any new posts to bump it to the top of the list, but often there are no updated topics on the page; I suppose it could be putting me (& you) on the page that a forum topic was on when it was updated, and they aren't there anymore due to a post bumping them to the top, but I haven't seen any proof for or against that conclusion yet, so I'll keep my eye out, and if you do too, maybe we can figure out what's causing it.

I sometimes don't get a chance to log in for three or four days, so I thought it might be redirecting me to the last page of topics I saw? You guys are more active than I am, though, so that probably wouldn't hold true for all of us.
For me, almost every topic has new posts, but the redirections are usually to page 3 or 4 (even though there are new posts on pages even farther back), so I don't think updated/non-updated topics are the cause.

I believe that's it as this happens to me very rarely and it's usually 2 or 3, which is also the amount of time that I last looked at page 2 or 3.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
I almost never manually go beyond Page 1 (I use AutoPager most of the time), but I often get placed on ?page=4 (Page 5) and I almost never have to go that far back. Also if I go back a long way (say page 20 or 30) before logging out, when I log back in it never goes back to the page I logged out, it's still either Page 5 (?page=4) (sometimes it's 3 or 4) or Page 1.

Mostly its page 4.

Is that Page 4 (?page=3) or ?page=4 (which is actually Page 5)?
I don't know how much of a difference it makes, but it might help in tracking it down.
Note: This morning it took me straight to /tracker (no ?page= anything); looking back into the Recent Posts history, I don't see any "updated" threads except one that's still on the first page, could somebody try editing a post that's a number of pages back (preferably not Page 4 or 5) and not adding commenting on it, so that we can see if it takes us to the page it's on?I should have hit save sooner, but according to what ComputerFreaker said Here it sounds like that idea's out.
Can anybody else think of some possible causes?
