is a very good game.
Like Anno 1602.

It would be nice

For a description of it see This Page
As far as Licensing goes, the Source Code is GPL v2.0, and the Content is cc-by-sa 3.0, so AFAIK that means someone here can do it if they so wish.

I did have a look at this, but the following statement on the website about Windows installation put me off:
"If you have downloaded the install package, just run the setup. Select OpenAL if it is not installed on your PC, otherwise you will have no sound and the game will be laggy!"

Warzone 2100 also uses OpenAL. IIRC, just put openal32.dll and wrap_oal.dll in the app folder.
Previously known as kAlug.
I haven't looked into the possible portability issues, so I don't know, but that sentence certainly does look foreboding doesn't it.
Edit: Looks can be decieving. If it's as simple as kAlug says, I don't think it'll be an issue, however their may be other issues (again, IDK), but if anyone's interested in Portablizing this, I think it'd be legal at least. (and hopefully it won't be too difficult ;))

Should be able to download the latest version and look at any issues over the next couple of days unless anyone else wants it.

Making early progress on this - Doesn't appear to be too complex as all user data seems to be contained in one Directory/Folder.
Have also looked at a few other apps that use the redistributable DLL files mentioned and all seem to function O.K. by just adding them the the base directory so, all being well, I should be able to complete a Development Test for posting later today.
