I just installed the PortableApps Standard suite on a Truecrypt volume that I keep on a USB thumb drive. Previously, I had installed and successfully used portable apps from this Truecrypt volume. After installing the suite and moving my other apps (e.g., portaputty, Torpark, etc.) into the PortableApps directory on this volume, I get NO network connectivity from any of the apps, either the ones in the suite or others. Network connectivity works fine from apps installed on the hard drive of the PC I'm connected, so that isn't the problem. As I said, portable apps used to work fine from this Truecrypt volume, so I'm really puzzled. Any ideas? Thanks.

Sorry for not doing more research before posting. This turned out to be a Truecrypt issue. I believe Truecrypt became confused as I was dismounting and mounting the volume in question and another earlier copy of the same volume on my hard drive to the same drive letter (not at the same time, of course). Truecrypt started giving me strange errors, so I rebooted the system and now network connectivity works from apps on the Truecrypt volume.
