Firefox Portable temp cache

I noticed Google Chrome Portable saves it's cache on the %temp% directory and deletes it on exit, it should be possible to also implement this for Firefox so why not?

According to the FAQs

According to the FAQs (https://portableapps.com/forums/support/firefox_portable/faq#4), this should not be necessary because "...Firefox Portable has its disk cache disabled. It uses RAM for cache. All your cookies and other data is self-contained on your portable device. At no time is any personal data stored on the local machine, so even if someone tried to find it with an undelete utility, there would be nothing for them to find."

But because I'm paranoid, I start FFP in a separate shell with the %temp% directory set to the %CD%\Temp directory on my portable drive. I can confirm that it leaves nothing behind.

Curious! Do you also leave

Curious! Do you also leave the cache size set to 0? It would seem to me if you don't, the constant writing to the portable drive would slow things down, and shorten the life of the drive. But if you do leave the cache size at 0, what would be written to the temp dir anyway?
