Notepad2-mod is a lightweight text editor with syntax highlighting for a few commonly used languages and some new features beyond regular Notepad2 like code folding, bookmarks and additional languages. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Suite. And it's open source and completely free.

BTW, regarding the source, you should use SVN-->Export, this should save a lot of space in the source package.
