USB Drive Speed Test

USB Drive Speed Tester

I searched for something to test my USB Drives and found the following article:
http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/5-lightweight-tools-to-check-the-speed-of-y...

I am using CrystalDiskMark3 and I love it. (available for Win7 64bit and Portable!)
http://crystalmark.info/download/index-e.html#CrystalDiskMark
It is specifically for drives to test read/write speeds.

Simple and easy to use. It allows me to copy the results to notepad.
It will run a test file size of 50MB to 4GB form 1 to 5 times for average speed.
Default is 1GB running 5 times.

This should allow me to do a fair comparison of the drives I have and decide which ones I want to keep using.

Thanks

Strange, I searched the forum before posting and found nothing that referred to this program. "USB Drive Speed Tester", USB Drive Speed Test" "Drive speed tester"
I got nothing. Good to see it is done for portable apps.

Their version works fine on my Win7 61 system.
It does take some time to test the drives.

In this case, searching for

In this case, searching for 'benchmark' works fairly well (I used the search field up near the header).

CrystalDiskMark

Just searching for "CrystalDiskMark" would have worked as well.
