Is there anything similar to Google Picasa that's available as a portable app?

There are many here

There are some here in the 'Image Viewer' section -
https://portableapps.com/apps/graphics_pictures

However none seem to support face recognition, which is why I am still waiting for someone to take up the challenge to make Picasa portable Smile

Proprietary software. Cannot happen due to licensing restrictions.

Unless you can convince Google to give us (PortableApps.com) explicit permission to repackage & redistribute it.
