I try to use Portable Skype 5.3.0.111.
I am behind a Proxy Server....i configured the settings in Portable Skype options.
Every time i want to log in it tells me "Skype can't connect"
Proxy is 100% correct....i use it for all other internet connections. I can see in the firewall (not the local one...hardware one for complete network) that it tries to connect directly to the internet even when i configure Portable Skype to use proxy.
Can this problem be solved and if yes how??

You in Europe? Skype went down for a good chunk of the world as the servers were moved. I've been having trouble logging in here in the US, too. It's intermittent, though.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
Try this:
Shutdown Skype.
Rename the SkypePortable/Data folder to something like "Data2".
Restart Skype and re-enter your password and login name.
That worked for me on my linux machine. Seems to be a skype issue.
If anything goes wrong, you can go back to your old /Data folder.
