Wow, that was quick.
I'm not really knowledgeable in the testing part but I'll give it a try later tonight and see if I can find something anyway.
Cheers
I just ran a few short tests. I really like the concept of this app. It might be quite useful for me. It's working great on my Win7 64bit system so far. I also ran a regshot before and after and I did not notice any thing left over.
Nice app. Regshot clean (WinXP SP3 admin rights), nothing left behind so far.
It crashed two times during test, but I think that is a base app's issue.
Thanks!
I'm using XP3+admin too. How did you manage to crash it?
Previously known as kAlug.
I tried to select several cells at once (with ctrl) during the tutorial and it crashed twice. Another try and it worked fine. I could not reproduce it with an empty document, though.
I did not do a local installation but I think it is a base app issue since the portablization should not effect it.
It works fine to me. I was unable to select multiple cells with
Ctrl
+Click
(Shift
worked, though).Previously known as kAlug.
I wasn't able to select them with Ctrl, too, just trying crashed it. The third time I still wasn't able to select them (by design ) but did not crash it. I tried to reproduce it some times (was in the tutorial section, where tags are explained) but it did not occur again. I did not pay attention for the crash details but will do the next time (if ever).
Haven't been able to crash it on my system. Shift+Click works for selecting multiple cells. Ctrl+Click doesn't seem to do anything.
If I start TreeSheetsPortable and use either the open, save or save as option it will remember the path to my chosen folder, which in my case is x:\path\to\treesheetsportable\data\, when I later use my local install of TreeSheets(and vice versa).
I'm using Windows 7 64bit swedish (and later today I can check a little on a locked down xp computer).
I've tried to install this portable app to test but during the install it fails. The failure happens at the time it tries to download the application. The error says it cannot connect.
Any thoughts are appreciated. I do really want to test this app.
Cheers,
CHJ
No problem here. I just tried it 2 Min. ago. Do you have any security restrictions/apps installed? Firewall, virus scanner? Any ports blocked? Behind a proxy/router?
maybe you could download the installer manually and put it besides the paf in the same folder.
I just did a re-install and it worked fine, so maybe you were just unlucky or something else interfered (corrupt download, firewall).
Otherwise I believe that if you download and place the original program in the same folder as the portableapps installer it will use that instead during installation.
Cheers
Now TreeSheets is packaged together with the launcher.
Previously known as kAlug.
Dropped the self-made 256px icon and added an 128px icon based on the 32px one.

But downloading through phone. Looks really interesting and might just work as a good fit for my book writing process. Love mind mappers, but sometimes a bit too hierarchical for my needs. This might offer a bit more flexibility.
I realized that the changelog only lists major releases, so I decided to get the latest version and release it.

Corrected a small mistake. Sorry guys.

It worked for me, downloading on my phone.
Must have been a MediaFire issue.

needsuses PAL 3.0.Previously known as kAlug.
Can you switch it to PAL 2.2 and add anything you really need with custom code for now?
