Use of other programs in Pstart

Can I add other programs in Pstarts such as limewire.exe and more fo those programs that you just copy the folder only?

Sure You Can

Right click on the PSTART screen. Then select ADD FILE. On the SELECT APPLICATION screen find the program/application you want to add to PSTART. Then on the FILE PROPERTIES click OK.

Try this then . .

At the top of the PSTART panel click on EDIT. The ADD FILE. That should work. I'm not sure why right clicking is not working though.

There aren't any menus on the top! Can you see if my pStart is the same one from this screenshot please?

That's PAM

That's cuz that is PortableApps Menu, not PStart. See the Suite page for info on adding apps.

Fastone Image Viewer

Tried your instructions to get the Faststone Maxviewer to work with the menu! Tried for a LLOOONNNGGG time! Fnally I achieved success. Problem is I tried so many ways that I've forgotten how I did it. But it works none-the-less. Thanks

OOPS!

Oops! Sry but I just realised that the app that I was talking about is PortableApps menu not Pstart! Can anyone tell me how to add other programs in the NEW PORTABLEAPPS MENU please?

Thank you in advance,

other aps in menu

I can give you a rough idea of how this can be done but perhaps John T Haller or others may give a more informed reply.
Anyway here goes, I have a few apps ( already portable ) such as EssentialPIM and KeePass running from the Portable Apps menu. I have these apps in their own folder within the PortableApps folder, with the exe also in the same folder. If you already have the Portable Apps menu running when you drop new apps in, then you will need to close the menu and restart it again, all being well your new apps should show up on the menu. If you have an app which has multiple exe files in its folder you may be out of luck as perhaps they will all show up. I have not tried this myself yet.
Hope this helps and if anyone can correct me or shed more light then please do.

Youre right

Using apps with multiple exe files, it shows all the exe files and not just the one you'd need to start the programm. That will be fixed in the upcoming version of PortableApps Menu which is to be released the moment its ready.
BTW instead of closing and restarting the Menu, you can just click the "refresh the icons" button in the Options- menu.
