How to change the default template in Portable Abiword?

I have installed the latest version of portable abiword and I would like to make some changes to the default template. Anyone knows how to do it?

Same

It's the same as with regular AbiWord. Here's an article on changing the default font, for instance:
http://www.abisource.com/twiki/bin/view/Abiword/FaqDefaultFont

The directory is just AbiWordPortable\App\AbiSuite2\templates instead.

I've tried that but after I

I've tried that but after I have saved a new normal template, I've closed the program and opened it again and the default template remained as the same. The strange thing is that if I open the new normal template as a regular file it assumes all the changes that I have made.

Works fine

Just tried it. Works exactly as intended. Be sure you're editing the right normal.awt. It depends on language / geography.

Well I've tried with

Well I've tried with English(USA) and Portuguese, and there is only one normal.awt in the AbiWordPortable\App\AbiSuite2\AbiWord briefcase.
I use windows xp.

Wrong directory

You're using the wrong directory. Please re-read my eariler post. You'll see dozens of normal.awt files with different suffixes in the right place.

Yes, is the one that I have

Yes, is the one that I have mentioned to you. It has one normal.awt file and several other ones with different suffixes in the right place.
It's the right directory. There is no other place with normal.awt files, I've checked.

Nope

You said you were looking in:
AbiWordPortable\App\AbiSuite2\AbiWord

I said you need to look in:
AbiWordPortable\App\AbiSuite2\templates

If you edit the file for your locale (normal.awt if you're using US English *ONLY*... one of the others if you're using something else) it works fine.

Sorry, my mistake!
The directory is AbiWordPortable\App\AbiSuite2\templates and I've tried both ways in US English and in Portuguese and, as I've told you, when I opened a new document the default template remained the same, but if I opened the normal.awt file instead it assumed all the changes.
