Quick Request

Firstly congrats to the dev net here at pa.com

Hereby I request "Categories" or Folders for apps in the PortableApps Directory for the future burgeoning market so there is no reader fatigue, eg "FireFox" directory related to nightlies, releases and betas.

Cheers

Not Sure

Not sure what you mean. Having a category just for Firefox would be overkill. It's fine to have the multiple versions available. We'll be switching on an Advanced option on whether you want "Advanced" apps to appear in the Portable App Directory (betas, test versions, legacy versions primarily of Firefox, Chrome, etc). This will be disabled by default.

If you want Firefox in its own category in the menu, you can do that.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

That's cool I guess. I just

That's cool I guess.

I just don't want the "geek" factor to overpower the "chic" factor that's all so if all the non-release apps can be disabled then I guess that's probably enough, but also things like card games show multiple entries of the same icon, and in any case it's not as simple as say MS Office when it comes to Libre office for example which is a pity I think.

same icon

Thats only if you have it installed multiple times. Otherwise the Icons belong to different games. But it is true that we have 4 games from one publisher all starting with "Quick" which all have the same Icon.
