Adding non-PAF apps

Hi!

Sorry about this post, I must be stupid! Smile

I am trying to add some portable apps to the 2.0 PR2.1 menu but they don't show.
I've installed the menu to x:\test, the directory then contains the following directories and files:

Documents (dir)
PortableApps (dir)
Autorun.inf
Start.exe

Copied my non-PAF app (lets call it TestApp) to the x:\test\PortableApps\TestApp dir, and then runs the "Refresh App Icons", but it don't show.
Also tried to copy it to x:\test\TestApp.

What am I doing wrong here?

TIA

Cheers
Ob

X:\PortableApps

I don't know if the Platform is designed to run from a non-root folder. Try using X:\PortableApps instead of X:\test\PortableApps.

Needs executable in its root

If there's an executable in the TestApp directory, it will appear in the Platform. If there isn't, it won't.

@Chris Morgan
In the words of Homer Simpson: D'OH!!! Smile

The TestApp-dir contained a sub-dir with the exe-file.
Moved the exe to the TestApp-dir, problem solved.

Thank you!
