Hi all,
I've been using Periodic Table software for a while but it is always a total mess to be able to find the latest up-to-date version of these on the net. Please can you make/post them in the application section?
Freshney periodic Table 3.8.2
Periodic Table Explorer 1.7.2
These are the latest. The freshney can be downloaded from their servers but is pretty inconvenient to look for, the second one is only available as an installer. I do use a mofified version of it so that it's now portable. But since both are free softwares, someone really competent shall modify these to make them completely portable and available to everyone.
It is a lot better to use these softwares than looking thru my personnal notes on it. And with the ton of info it gives over any element plus the updates as we discover a new element makes it wonderfully more convenient than old periodic table on paper.
Thanks for thinking to it.
Here is the website to get these softwares, but it would be simpler to have every portable softwares on THIS site.

I requested permission to make a PortableApps build of this awhile ago, but was denied that permission (the author explicitly denied permission; this wasn't a case of denial-by-silence). If you can get him to change his mind, I'd still be happy to portabilize it.
"The question I would like to know, is the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe and Everything. All we know about it is that the Answer is Forty-two, which is a little aggravating."
its not often i hear that an author has denied a portable version of their software. Thanks for trying Computerfreaker
I still don't have even a dev test up due to a couple of denials and denial-by-silences.
I'm busy coding a couple of apps myself at the moment, and it looks like they will be ready to release before any of the freeware that is already out there that I want to package.
I am going to try and post a dev test.
This app is freeware, and you need permission from the author to redistribute it. Computerfreaker has asked and was denied that permission.
You are welcome to ask the author yourself and see if you can convince him/them otherwise if you really do want to have a go at it.
Hello,
I'm the author of these apps, they can all be found at:
periodictableexplorer.com
They are now open source too, get the source code from my website:
