Just curious...
I've never seen an app released three times before and that's what's happened here!Although it probably is an update why doesn't it state a version number like every other app? Just so we can see that it is an update.

I don't know what you mean. Unless you mean the fact that Stable, Beta and Dev all updated. 3 different channels. 3 different versions. Me thinks you're referring to something specific (updater, app store, app directory, homepage, rss feed or twitter feed) but have neglected to mention what and are assuming I somehow know what you mean

I thought I made it clear. On the home page three times I've seen Google Chrome 13 Stable are they all the same version? Normally when apps appear on the News list they have the current version including the other numbers indicating its full version number.
May I just say I have had problems d/l from some sites using this app so I used Firefox instead.I've only just started using chrome and am not impressed. Firefox is quicker and I've never had a problem with it.
Stopped
We stopped doing that quite some time ago due to the length of the version numbers. While Google Chrome w.x.y.z would sometimes fit, adding in Beta would never fit. And as we wanted to indicate Stable as well, it made more sense to remove them. They're on the article, on the app homepage, on the news page and in the updater. Besides, if you see a new version of 13 stable on the homepage, you know you need to upgrade.
