@JohnTHaller: Are you still working on the PA.c Platform 'Next' ?

I'm just curious: Are you still working on it? Because Pre-Release 4 hasn't come for a week, and hasn't changed much here and it seems to be inactive.

Really?

Do you expect the answer to be 'no' or something? Really? Just because you have a little bit of silence doesn't mean you need to get all chicken little and post a message to my attention in the forums. Heck, the topic you linked to I posted about a bug and it being fixed in local code (which will be part of PR4) just 3 days ago, just before the 3-day holiday weekend here in the states. Seriously, dude, what's with all the panic? Blum

Just wondering if you're

Just wondering if you're still working on it. I wonder when it's the final release.

Use It

By looking at that thread, it's obvious it's actively being worked on. So that question's sorted without me needing to re-answer it. As for when it's final, the answer has been given dozens of times previously as well: "When It's Done".

Longer answer: It doesn't matter! Use 'Next' RIGHT NOW. There are going to be releases of it rather regularly with new features and bug fixes as those features and fixes are ready for release. So it doesn't matter when it's dubbed 'final' other than in name and the fact that we'll do some promotion around it. Now please stop worrying, use it, enjoy it, test it, post any bug reports and (if you can) assist in translation updates. Smile

Answered

This has been asked and answered. Twice now. Unless you're trolling.

Again: "WHEN. IT'S. DONE." When it's done and not before. And again: "IT. DOESN'T. MATTER." Same answer as when PR4 will be posted and PR5 will be posted. When it's done. Our official release is now 'Next'. It's cleared for everyday use. Use it. You'll be getting great features and functionality and regular updates with bug fixes and new features. All nice and automated.

When

will Microsoft finish with Windows 7 after all it gets fixes and updates on a monthly basis? Seems like the answer is the same Software is a constant evolving creature that is never truly "done"
