I am playing with the new suite and am quite impressed. When i went to try openoffice writer though I was overwhelmed by the number of tool bars, with no easy way to remove them so I started digging into the settings. I found that when I went into view>toolbars>customize and then clicked on the keyboard tab in the resulting window, openoffice would crash, doing a document recovery before restarting itself. Not sure what is causing this bug or if it occurs for nayone else. Thanks Andrew
But there are only two toolbars on by default: Formatting and Standard. Which is the basic layout of every word processor I've ever seen (including Word, Word Perfect, AbiWord, etc). Oh wait... I think you mean toolbar buttons. In which case, yeah, there are a few.
I just tried what you said and it worked as expected. No idea what may be up with yours.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
Yeah there is a few buttons but there also seems to be more bars, there are six lines of icons, not all full lines but still more than the normal two, I had a picture but not sure how to put it on here to show you and it shows where I clicked to get the error, maybe i downloaded a bad copy or something, i might try again later.
Ditto. On '95. Not so, on XP. CrashRep.exe seems to be cause for hanging. OO can be stopped from ProcessExplorer. CrashRep can't be.
