Now, the support of Thunderbird 3.1.x is continued.
However, Mozilla Thunderbird, Portable Edition (Legacy) 3.1.x is not available as download!
There are only download links of 3.0.x (As for this version, looooooooooong time has passed since an official support ended).
Would you release latest 3.1.x based legacy portable version soon?
It's building (you can monitor it here). You should get off this old release ASAP, though. This 3.1.x branch is the final branch that they will maintain an outdated version for and they're only doing it for "a short time" instead of the about 6 months they used to. June 28th is when this branch was moved to legacy status. 6 months would have given you until December, but "a short time" will likely be any time now.
With each newer version of Thunderbird, it's gonna be a little harder for you to upgrade. And, realistically, any maintained extensions should have been updated for the current version months ago. Any that aren't by now are likely dead and you should see about finding an alternative (or hacking it to see if it'll kinda work).
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
