[Fixed] [Inkscape] Drop-Down List Empty (Transform Panel)

Hello. The drop-down list that normally contains the units for applying transformations shows up empty on my system. I linked a screen shot below.

(Ordinarily, there are options like %, px, mm, etc.)

This only occurs with the portable version of Inkscape. I'm using InkscapePortable_0.48.1.paf.exe on Windows XP (Service Pack 3).

I apologize if this is a known issue. A few, cursory searches provided no results.

Maybe a localization issue.

Maybe a localization issue. On my setup it works fine (see screenshot).

Can't reproduce

I am unable to reproduce this in English or in Japanese. The machine I'm running it on has the interface in English only, however; it's vaguely possible that there could be a difference when Windows is in Japanese. First of all, I'd recommend that you try reinstalling Inkscape Portable to make sure that all the files in the App directory are correct, then if that doesn't work try renaming the Data directory to something else to get an effectively clean installation.

Working in 0.48.2-1

I have confirmed this is working in 0.48.2-1 in Japanese.

Never able to reproduce

I don't think it's quite fair to call it "fixed" as we were never able to reproduce it. "Invalid" is, I think, perhaps more accurate. The OP may still experience this issue.
