Opera Portable: old versions?

Are there also older versions of Opera Portable available or only the current one?

P.S.: Can someone explain, why many freeware Portable Apps are only available via download.portableapps.com (and apparently only the recent one?)

SourceForge.net has a strict

SourceForge.net has a strict policy for allowing only Open Source applications to be hosted on their site. For this reason, the freeware portable apps have to be hosted on this site, which in the end, costs a lot money and bandwidth.

I don't know the answer to your other question though.

OK, that's intelligible. I

OK, that's intelligible.
I think it would be good to offer an ability to download also older versions of PortableApps which are not hosted by SourceForge. That wouldn't cost much extra bandwich because the demand of obsolete versions is quite small.

Not Much Reason

As outdated versions of Opera have security issues and are unsupported, no one should be running them, anyway. So, there's not much reason to make an old version available.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Yes, but...

Yes, that is true, but in some cases it's useful to have an older and a newer version for some testing purposes like to compare e.g. appereance of websites, or to see changes in browser design, etc.
Even opera offers archived versions for download.
Of course for "normal" usage, it's better to use the latest version.
