Some online tutorials suggest a solution to the portable Quicktime Plugin problem for Firefox Portable:
Copy the following files (from QuickTime Lite install package) to the below path:
\FirefoxPortable\Data\plugins
QuickTimePlugin.class
nsIQTScriptablePlugin.xpt
npqtplugin.dll
npqtplugin2.dll
npqtplugin3.dll
npqtplugin4.dll
npqtplugin5.dll
But it's still not workable.
Is there a way like installing flash plugins for Firefox Portable (copying the files to %APPDATA%) for Quicktime?
Flash is a standalone plugin; it doesn't need anything else to work.
Most other plugins (including QuickTime) are only links between the browser and an installed application. They will not work without the app.
Previously known as kAlug.
