Is possible that a Stand Alone Installer be the source of a PA Platform online installer?

This is the Situation (especifictly With GoogleChrome - Now and Then "G.C.").
1. I want a StandAlone Portable G.C. distribution.
2. I downloaded the Portable online Installer - and Executed;
I Choose an folder to Deploy it. Wait that the installer (Stand alone G.C.
installer) get downloaded, uncompressed and installed (portable version).
3. Then I Compress the Folder where I Deployed the Portable G.C. distribution,
and Optionally I Make a Auto-Extract version of that Folder.

Now if I want UPDATE an existing Portable G.C. installation... I just
Extract the new Portable G.C. installation that I made, but This method
left GARBAGE... just like the OLD bin version of G.C. (GoogleChromePortable\App\Chrome-bin),
so.. the Portable G.C. installation grows almost 100Mb at once it get Upgrated.
I've seen that the Online/Usual portable installers make a CLEAN of the deploy
folder (if already exists the Portable G.C. installation folder)...
but the online-installers doesn't support offline - standalone installers
to be the source of the installation.

I've used a trick... while the Portable Installer Download the Installation Source,
I browse "%temp%\nsp7.tmp(this name change - It seems be Randomized)\Download(ed)".
And Get the StandAlone Installer of the GoogleChrome. this installer
It used to be the source of another offline installation.
So.. I start the installer, Inspect the %temp%\nspXX.tmp which the installer
create, Inside of that folder - Create the Download(ed) Folder, Copy the
Offline StandAlone Installer of G.C. and then complete the Portable Installation
Process.... but the Portable Installer try to download the installer AGAIN, then
DELETE the Downlad(ed) folder where the Installer it already Downlader - Copied,
and the installation get Aborted.

There is a way to use already downloaded standalone installers that those installers
be the source of a "online-installer"?....
I think that... I must not need a Internet Coneccion to complete a "online"
installation if I have all the resources necessary to complete that
process (B.E.: when I don't have Internet Access or I have a very slow Internet
Connection).

I hope that I could explain my subject, I don't have a Very Good english and I
don't use any translator (some of that translators make - like robot - tranlations.

It already does that

This is exactly what should be happening. Perhaps it's looking for a different filename (or the MD5 is wrong)?

You can, & You're doing way more than you need to.

To install Google Chrome Portable (or any other PortableApps.com App that uses an Online Installer) while on a computer without internet access, place the correct chrome_installer.exe file in the same folder as the GoogleChromePortable_14.0.835.163_online.paf.exe file (where 14.0.835.163 is the version you are installing), then run the GoogleChromePortable_14.0.835.163_online.paf.exe, it will automatically use that version of the chrome_installer.exe (if it's MD5sum checks out), this chrome_installer.exe file can be downloaded from http://dl.google.com/chrome/install/835.163/chrome_installer.exe (where 835.163 is the last two sections of the version you are installing).

Note: You can find the URL of the file which a PortableApps.com Online Installer downloads, by checking the [DownloadFiles]:DownloadURL string in the App\AppInfo\installer.ini file after you have installed the app.

That was the trick!

Got it!
And IT WORKS THE Trick (I got the standalone installer from the %temp%\TempAppInstallerFolder\Download).
Thank you for the response.
