Is it possible to save my custom suite?

I'm just now using the new PA.c Platform for the first time, so I apologize if this is something that's already been covered. I could not find it in the forums.

I think the new Platform and AppStore idea is terrific, and I liked being able to customize my own suite. I'm wondering now whether there is a function within the platform to let me export my Suite to a text or xml file so that I could then load it on another computer and get the exact same suite (or send it to a friend who's not already familiar with PA and say, "start with these".

I know that in general I can copy my folder to another drive, but then I face issues with the folder structure needing to be the same, etc. It would be easiest if I could install it anew on my other computer, but start with the same list of apps.

Is that possible, and if not is it worth considering?

Thanks for an amazing product!

It's a good idea

I'd had a suggestion to have several preset suite selections for the AppStore.
Your idea is an evolution of that - if you could load and/or save a text file with specific selections, then John could include several presets for different standard suites (a multimedia suite, a gamer suite, a home office suite), as well as allowing you to save your own custom suites.

I made this half-pony, half-monkey monster to please you.

Application and configuration

This would be a great generic solution to load/save application list. But what about application configuration ? As it is part of "data", backup/restore may do the work.

What if ... the "restore" feature of the platform automatically install missing applications, I.E. application not present in platform but present in restored backup ?
