does not work either, since it contains simply a link to the www.coolsksoft.org server which is also here in CH not found on avaiable DNS.
Recomend some more reasonable server for that, this one definitely causes problems.

at the moment i try creating a hd , some options flashby , and says harddisk created

If no, Can you post image with error?
2) If you create HDD you cannot boot from it because there's no OS, so you must install OS on HDD.
But if you only want to start OS,that is in PortableOS database, you don't need virtual HDD.

With = QEMU on Windows Ver 0.12.2 (1/20/2010)
It cant go over "1112 Meg, of Memory".
Even with 3 Gig Ram or 8 Gig Ram.
Tested with = [QEMU on Windows Ver 0.12.2 (1/20/2010)], [2500 Meg, of Memory available].
qemu.exe -L . -m 1112 -hda linux.img -localtime -M pc
Please, just use 1024 Meg. max, in your software.
I will search in the Internet, of why it cant go over [1112 meg].
When I paused the download, the window disappeared.
You should say "Stop" instead of "Pause".

I've run into some errors. At first I had problems with GParted(GUI was crashing).
After a while I managed to format my 512MB virtual HD to FAT32 with GParted though, so no worries. Today I managed to install a micro Windows XP(its only 200MB installed), and I had to turn off kqemu, otherwise I got a bluescreen before I could choose the disk to install to. After the install qemu couldn't boot XP, and when I quit qemu I got this in the CMD-window:

Now I can't boot Windows XP. kqemu don't find the hard drive.
...Did some experimenting before posting, and formatting with XP's built in formater (the one that appears before copying file) managed to make it work.
I guess that the QEMU error is still there though, since I turned off kqemu with the .ini file.
A little options UI would be nice also, even though it only contains one thing right now..

I try to include Qemu v0.12.4, inside the qemu directory. But it dont work, with your portable version 1.4.1.

It use Qemu 0.11.1, but kqemu is avaiable only on 32-bit OS('case kqemu for 64-bit OS doesn't exists)
I tried putting the download link, but it doesn't work. It says "error 404: forbidden"
Its a .vdmk image and I don't know how to make it work under PortableOS.
By the way, I liked "PortableOS" better than "OSLauncherPortable." PortableOS rolls off the tongue, but OSLauncherPortable kinda sticks to it.
if you have it on the HDD, copy it into images folder
it says its starting but the window just hangs there forever.

Did it's normal than inside your software = OSLauncherPortable and all OS and QEMU x64, use in total only 1 cpu?
Then how to enable using, with your software, 2 Cpu, 3 Cpu, ... ?

1.7.3 is only small update: links changed to new page and there are also small correction of help.
There is also new database: Android OS and Simple Linux were updated to newest version and fixed some dead links....

I have downloaded the [18.01.2011] OSLauncherPortable_1.7.3_English.paf.exe version. After i have updated the database with the internal database updater. After inside your software, some os download dont work = it display errors. I have reported those errors, with the bug report option inside your software.
Also did i have to report it, also in that forum section, or only use bug report option inside your software ?

Now I can run any program I want at school! THANK YOU SO MUCH! Now I'll be playing Portal on Steam whenever I'm on the school computers.
QEMU is very slow, I doubt you can play Portal on it... these school computers would have to be very fast.
Just put Ubuntu on external hard drive, and run TF2 with Steam for Linux beta.
I really like this app, and I'd like to see it move further (perhaps into an official release someday).
Are you interested in working together to develop a GUI interface for PortableOS? I was going to work on it on my own, but frankly I haven't been able to work with QEMU as well as you have done here.
